The perfect opportunity to get hands on one-on-one help with your pottery wheel throwing* goals. Suitable for beginners wanting to get started in a private environment, or more advanced throwers needing a second opinion and help with refining their technique. Gift vouchers available.

The Nitty Gritty
Aka Terms and Conditions 

Students - 2 persons maximum unless otherwise approved
Length - For one person the minimum bookable time is 1 hour, for two people+ the minimum bookable time is 1.5 hours
Content - These classes, unless otherwise discussed are for wheel throwing only.
Clay - 1.5 kg of clay will be provided per class, this equates to 4/5 objects. If you would like to use more than this or a specialty clay please bring them with you.
Firing & glazing costs - Glazing and firing costs are only covered if 2 or more sessions are booked. Glazing options are clear & white.
Howick - Howick lessons are held in the new pottery studio at Uxbridge Arts Centre. This is an Hour drive in rush hour traffic from Akl CBD and 30 - 45 minutes non rush hour. Click here for maps . Please see below for available time slots.
Onehunga - Lessons are held at the wonderful Auckland studio potters. This is a 40 minute drive in peak hour traffic from Akl CBD and 20 minutes non rush hour. Click here for maps. Please see below for available time slots.
Ellerslie - Lessons are held at the newly opened The Clay Centre in Ellerslie. This is a 40 minute drive in peak hour traffic from Akl CBD and 20 minutes non rush hour. Click here for maps. Please see below for available time slots
